The Rev Anthony Howe

Full sized view

Anthony (known as Ant to most people!) has been the Minister to Kingswood Meeting House and to Warwick Unitarian Chapel since June 2006.

Prior to this he lived in Greater Manchester where he led the Unitarian congregations at Chorlton and Cheadle.

He holds a degree in Religion & Theology from the University of Manchester and trained for ministry at Unitarian College Manchester.

Ant is passionate about music and prior to training for the ministry he played keyboards in a band, the organ in various churches, and was for a time a full time musician. He has recently re-joined the band in Leicester with whom he used to play.

When the congregations of Kingswood & Warwick formed a new joint ministry, Ant applied for the post and was called by both congregations to be the first Minister of this new venture.

He officiates at a number of weddings, baptisms and funerals within the local area, and conducts worship in both chapels each Sunday.

Ant is keen to see both congregations develop and to ensure that a vibrant Unitarian witness in each community is maintained.
