The Rev Anthony Howe
Known as Ant to almost everyone, he has been Minister at Kingswood and Warwick since June 2006.
Prior to this he lived in Greater Manchester where he led the Unitarian congregations at Chorlton and Cheadle.
Having completed a degree in theology, Ant trained for the Ministry at Unitarian College Manchester where he completed a post graduate diploma in Contextual Theology.
Ant is passionate about music and prior to training for the ministry he played keyboards in a band, the organ in various churches, and was for a time a full time musician.
During his time at Kingswood & Warwick both congregations have experienced numerical growth.
Ant is keen to see a lively and vibrant Unitarian witness in our local area. He firmly believes that liberal religion generally, and Unitarianism in particular, has much to offer people today.
He strives to strike balance between humour and seriousness, formality and informality, when conducting services.
As well as conducting the Sunday Services in each chapel, Ant conducts a number of weddings and baptisms. He is known throughout the area for his sensitive conduct of funeral services.
Ours is a community of love and Ant is keen to welcome many more people to our chapels.
